Afghanistan & Egypt Medal Pair to The Seaforth Highlanders

Medals correctly named to : 1068 Pte. F. Tuskin. 72 Ft.  on Egypt : 324 Pte. F. Tuskin. 1/Sea. Highrs.

With copies of medal rolls, showing first name Frederick, Medals Forfeited but restored, both rolls show the different numbers and noted "R.H.C." so possibly transferred out of the Regiment for some misdemeanour ? He shows up in the Court Martial Register 3 March 1884 at Parkhurst. Frederick was born in 1863 per an embarkation list dated 1878, so was 15 years old when he went overseas.

 

Was awarded a no bar Afghan medal, and not awarded the star.

VF Condition or better with contact marks. Ancestry shows him as born 4 Oct 1863 and resident at Newport, Isle of Wight, occupation Bricklayer's Labourer.
