Edward Seager was born in 1855 at Devizes, Wiltshire, grew up in Forest, Wilts and was a Servant to the Perrett family prior to enlisting on 29th April 1871, he served 12 years until 1 April 1882. After discharge he worked as a Railway Goods Guard and died in Rugby, Warwickshire on 27 Aug 1906.
