Syren Party Murmansk "Malamutes / Canada" Shoulder Title
Probably the rarest of all Canadian C.E.F. shoulder titles, " Malamutes / Canada "
in brass with two loops to the reverse.
Worn by Instructors with the Canadian North Russian Expeditionary Force, Syren Party.
These Canadians sailed from Leith in Scotland to Murmansk in October 1918 and were active within Syren Force training and leading White Russian Units into action against the Bolsheviks around Murmansk and Archangel. The force was evacuated back home in August 1919.
