15th Bn Officer's Sporran with Silver Sporran Badge, named to Capt. F.W. Grant
These pieces came off an old officers sporran. The leather backing was also saved. The back reads, Capt. F W Grant 134th O. S. Bn C.E.F.
Captain Fred Grant appears to have transferred to the 134th from the 15th Bn. He was from Ingersoll, Ontario and was a Lawyer by profession, there is a Street named after him in Midland, Ontario where he lived. He was the son of the Rev. R.N. Grant and Mary Ann McMullan. He married Constance M.H. Wade in 1903.
