Victorian 93rd Cumberland Infantry Helmet Plate Circa 1890
A fine and rare die-stamped brass example. Superimposed on a pair of downward crossed swords, a Crowned circlet “Vestigia nulla retrorsum” and decorated with thistles. To the centre, within a circlet “Cumberland Regiment MDCCCLXXI”, a maple leaf bearing numerals “93”.
